About Us

Who We Are

VetCell Therapeutics USA is comprised of a team of passionate doctors, veterinarians, scientists and pet owners who are all focused on one thing…

Providing Relief to Sick Pets On a Cellular Level.

We started our mission in 2015 with the goal of extending the promise of cellular treatments to pets suffering from acute and chronic inflammatory diseases for which there are no cures. Today, we are in the clinical stage for multiple treatments and are determined to become the first cell therapy provider to obtain FDA approval for our allogenic mesenchymal stem cell products.

What We Do

We develop cell therapies for cats and dogs based on a proven, proprietary scientific platform. We’re focused on converting the vast lab-observed therapeutic benefits of multipotent stem cells into treatments that improve the quality of life for pets suffering from diseases for which there are no cures.

We’re teaming up with some of the most well-recognized veterinary schools and academic institutions in the world. Together, we’re collaborating on product development and conducting clinical trials to assess the impact our therapeutics have on treating various disease models.

Key Team Members

THOMAS C.K. YUEN

THOMAS C.K. YUEN

Founder + Chairman of the Board

Thomas Yuen began his “America Dream” success story as a serial entrepreneur; founding several publicly traded companies such as AST Research Inc. and SRS Labs, Inc. Fueled by his own battle with chronic kidney disease (CKD) and with a successful five decades in the computer and electronics industry under his belt, Tom shifted his attention toward his passion for medical regenerative therapies.

Tom began researching stem cells in the 1980’s. Eventually, this research led Tom to embark on a journey toward the scientific expansion of stem cell research into therapeutic applications. In 2002, Tom purchased PrimeGen, a pioneer in the stem cell space and has since assembled a team of professional scientists to further PrimeGen’s understanding of stem cells and their various therapeutic properties. Through his work, Tom aims to advance the domain of stem cell research and improve the quality of life for people and animals suffering from chronic or debilitating diseases.
